Our opening night cocktail party at Grouse Mountain Lodge, the 3rd Annual Distiller's Fest features “signature” cocktails and spirits from 10 amazing Montana micro-distilleries, and outstanding appetizers from eight of Whitefish's top restaurants and caterers.
The lineup for this year's Distiller's Fest will be a "Who's Who" of the finest distillers in the Big Sky State, and the top chefs in Northwest Montana. Our lineup of distilleries is set -- you can check them out below -- and the restaurant "menu" for the event will be finalized (and on-line) by May 1.

Spotted Bear Spirits is a community-minded craft distillery planting roots in the vibrant mountain town of Whitefish, Montana. We source the raw materials for our spirits and cocktails from local farms and use organic ingredients whenever possible. Our lineup of spirits includes vodka, gin, coffee liqueur, and an assortment of old world liquors (limoncello, limecello, mandarincello). Take us with you on your travels—to the adventure!
Montgomery Distillery is a family-owned business with roots five generations deep in Montana agriculture. We strive to achieve a seamless blend of tradition and innovation, meshing Old World style spirits with ingredients grown and foraged in Montana. We are a farm-to-bottle operation, foregoing nationally-sourced product for local, house made spirits. The Montgomery Distillery farm rests on 140 acres in Central Montana, providing us with the wheat and rye that are the heart of our spirits, thus allowing us to experiment with grain varietals and farming techniques not available to most distilleries.
The Montana Distillery is located in historic downtown Missoula off of historic Woody St. and the bricked Railroad St., behind the Silver Dollar Bar and The Montana Antique Mall. We use Montana Sugar Beets in our Signature Woody St. Premium Vodka and also as the base for all of our 10+ flavored spirits.
Inspired by a great person and the perfect location, Whistling Andy meticulously handcrafts the finest in innovative and classic spirits using select local grains, local cherries, true first cut cane sugar and locally sourced botanicals whenever possible. Unlike many grain to glass initiatives and high-class liquors, Whistling Andy is very innovative, even industry leading with their products. Whether it's finding age old recipes, or unique new blends derived from what's in season, exciting products often come out of our distillery.
Headframe Spirits is a micro-distillery located in historic uptown Butte. Owners, John and Courtney McKee began their journey with this company in 2010, opening their tasting room doors in 2012. Since then, they have not only won awards and accolades for their products, but also for their impact to their community and state. In 2014 Governor Bullock recognized John and Courtney as Entrepreneurs of the Year and in 2015 as Ambassadors of the Year by the Office of Tourism.
